1.  Finish your research notes... don't forget to find visual information (maps, art, artifacts, etc)
as well as facts.

*Look at the Assessment Criteria Handout and make sure what you have done matches the column you want to be in!!

2.  Final product - what will it look like? 
     Pick a format that suits your question!

Research Checklist for Today:

1.  I have a minimum 5 sources in my bibliography

2.  I am over half way done my research notes.
     (aproximately 3-4 pages or equivalent )

3.  I have all my notes in point form.

4.  I have organized my notes using a clear system.

5.  I have looked at the criteria and checked with Ms Cyr that I am on track for where I want to be for a final assessment...

Research Day 2

Last Class - This should be done!

1.  I have my topic in the form of a question.

2.  I have broken my topic into smaller sub questions.

3.  I have created a bibliography page using Chicago style.

     (see handout)

4.  I have picked a format for my notes (paper/ electronic) AND

     made sure I have one point per 'notecard'. (see handout)

5.  I am able to connect my notes back to my bibliography entry.

Research Checklist for TODAY:

1. I have my bibliography started with at least 2 entries

2. I have my research notes systematically organized - 1 point per note
